Objectives of the PDW

• To offer the chance to national ambassadors to meet with counterparts from other countries
• To exchange ideas and proposals for the diffusion of the eTwinning action
• To further evolve the European Network of eTwinning Ambassadors ? ENA
  • To identify the special roles of ENA ambassadors
  • To provide training and development for ENA ambassadors

Agenda

The PDW Agenda consists of seven main sections. Following the official opening, an introduction to the European Network of Ambassadors will be presented. During the second day the participants will be informed about eTwinning groups and Learning Events while in the section of National ideas of promoting eTwinning, examples of four countries will be highlighted. The remainder of day 2 is consacrated to Practical Workshops where participants will get the chance to experience, hands-on, the use of the European Ambassadors Network and a demonstration of two Learning Events. During the final day of the PDW the participants will partake in a General Presentation within the scope of eLearning and promotional strategies followed by group assignments and a broad discussion.

Participation

eTwinning Ambassadors from all participating countries may attend the  Professional Development Workshop in Chania. The National Support Service of each country is responsible for selecting its delegates and covering their transportation and accomodation expenses. Each participant must fill out the registration form before 20th July.

Cost

 There is no registration fee for the participants. However, each NSS must take on the transportation and accommodation expenses of its members.
